CZ DUTY 4.0 F MS
About this product
Shooters who come here for drop-in trigger parts for the TX22, M&P 2.0 and Glock care about how a trigger feels more than anything else. That makes CZ's DUTY 4.0 worth a look as a complete pistol, because the refined SFDA trigger is the headline: a 25 N pull, about 5.6 lbs, 9 mm of travel and a crisp 4 mm reset. Under it sits a serialized internal chassis inside a fiberglass-reinforced polymer grip frame, so the grip is modular rather than the serialized part.
Chambered in 9x19mm with a 4-inch non-threaded barrel, the pistol measures 188 mm long and 33 mm wide. The C compact gives you 15+1, or 17+1 with the extended base plate, at 770 g and 135 mm tall. The F full-size gives you 17+1, 19+1 extended, at 780 g and 143 mm tall. Sights are fixed; the slide takes a red dot by direct mount. MS models add a manual thumb safety to the firing pin block, trigger safety and trigger bar safety. MSRP $729.
This is the longer grip of the two DUTY frames. It holds 17+1 rounds, 19+1 with the extended plate, stands 143 mm (5.6 in) and weighs 780 g (27.7 oz) unloaded. Same slide, same four-inch barrel as the carry-size, so the sight radius is identical; you buy the F for the grip and the extra rounds.
CZ built the DUTY around a serialized chassis that the polymer polymer grip wraps around, the same idea that lets a owner change frame size without buying a new serialized gun. The trigger is a refined SFDA striker unit, 25 ± 4 N (5.6 ± 0.9 lbs) pull, 4 mm (0.16 in) reset, 9 ± 1 mm (0.4 ± 0.04 in) travel. The slide takes optics by direct mounting; CZ's product photos show Holosun, Aimpoint and Shield units in place. Sights are fixed, the four-inch barrel is not threaded.
The MS model carries a frame-mounted external safety on top of the firing pin block, trigger safety and trigger bar safety. Everything else, chassis, trigger, slide and optics cut, is the same as the version without the lever.
Best fit: the belt, the nightstand and the range; the version to buy if you rarely need to hide the gun. Shooters coming from a CZ 75 will recognize the grip angle; owners coming from any other striker gun will notice the trigger first.
Trigger parts leave here in a plain box to your address, but the DUTY 4.0 is a serialized pistol and ships only to the FFL dealer you choose at checkout. That dealer completes the required paperwork and applies the rules of your state when you collect it. Pick a dealer you trust before placing the order and the handoff is simple.
